While on the board of directors at ArtsCan Resource Network I had many opportunities to put my design skills to work. Here is the most recent project completed for ArtsCan creating supporting graphics for the Arts4All festival in September 2018.

The first thing that I was tasked with was coming up with the logos for the festival, here you can see the final logos; one large version with a paint splash background that has details of different art forms hidden in the edges, and one simpler version.

The criteria for the creation the logos were that they had to somehow connect to the existing ArtsCan branding (we accomplished this ultimately with the colour palette), they needed to be very inclusive of different arts and be overall very eye catching.

Later I created images to use on various social media platforms, that would accompany the marketing text.

Lastly I created the event program, including a packed schedule of events in at least 12 locations over 3 days. The program was designed in 4 pages and printed on 11" x 17" paper folded to 8.5" x 11" as a handy guide book to hand out to people. I also converted it into an interactive PDF to be posted online that included links to all the event listings on the Arts4All website and links to sponsor websites.
This is the conceptual development for the logo. This was the starting point after the design briefing that ultimately lead to the final version.
